The Frontiers
The Western Frontier
There are a multitude of stories that were created while settling the West in the 1800's, some familiar, and some that were not so well known. With my recent move to Arizona, I have become reacquainted with some of the most interesting characters and events that changed the West.

The Eastern Woodlands Frontier
As a young boy, the intense excitement and drama of movies such as " Last of the Mohicans", "The Deer Slayer", and "The Northwest Passage" captivated me and caused me to daydream of living back in that time and place. The images stuck in my mind, laying dormant until recently when my passion for the era of the 1700's was reawakened. The spirit and image of the Eastern Woodland Indians exemplifies the courage and fierceness of a noble race trying to survive extinction.
